Data Corrections and Revisions:

The 2011 NI data release features 2000 and 2010 Census demographic variables along with 2010 ACS Estimates for data previously sourced from Nielson-Claritas including (Family Poverty, Median Income & Vehicle Access.  Previous years' Nielson Claritas data for these variables have been deprecated so that N/A appears in their place.

2010 NI data on high mobility students have been revised based on corrections provided by MMSD.

Citywide tallies of Public Safety calls for service (Police and Fire/EMS) were revised for 2008 and 2009 to reflect only service calls within City of Madison police and fire sectors.

The Madison Water utility revised its method for extracting usage summaries in 2010. The new methods were applied to 2009 usage summaries to provide greater time-series consistency.

Web profiles and data reflect the most current version of NI data. Pdf profiles may contain estimates that were revised subsequent to their production.
